“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a CHAMPION.’”
Do you consider yourself a CHAMPION?
Often, we are focused on the “now.” Don’t get me wrong, being present is a very good thing. Life happens now, in the present. There is no other place you can be. But, what if the present is a moment of failure? What if you just came up a little short of achieving your goal? Does this one loss redefine you as a failure or loser? Can you still be a CHAMPION, even if your season just ended abruptly. The answer depends on you. If you choose to quit and never look back, then perhaps you may find it difficult to label yourself as a CHAMPION. If you choose to see a moment of failure as a necessary step to truly create and experience your future success, then you most certainly are a CHAMPION.
Whatever your journey may be, weight loss, business, sport, be prepared to fail more than you succeed. Understand that this is what it takes to be a CHAMPION. Champions don’t win all the time. Champions continue to strive to win THIS time.
